HOW WE GOT HERE

Rounded Gear was founded in 2014 out of necessity, not convenience.​​

When our founder became a father, protecting his growing family became more than a personal responsibility, it became a priority. After purchasing his first firearm, he quickly discovered that finding a quality holster took significantly longer than the waiting period for the gun itself. Rather than compromise, he built one from scratch in his garage. It wasn’t perfect, but it worked, and it solved a real problem.​​

That moment sparked a realization: countless Americans were facing the same challenge. What began as nights and weekends crafting holsters by hand evolved into a relentless pursuit of better design, tighter tolerances, and complete obsession over quality, durability, and comfort. While outsourcing overseas would have been easier, we chose to invest in engineering, manufacturing, and craftsmanship here in the United States.​

Today, Rounded Gear operates a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Jacksonville, Florida, designing, milling, and producing holsters entirely in-house for civilians, law enforcement, and military professionals. Our commitment to precision, durability, and comfort begins at the concept stage and is engineered into every product we make, because when it comes to protecting what matters, “good enough” never is.​
